Make bootstrap dosen't work.

Hi,
I need some help in order to compile GCC-3.0.3 (December 20, 2001).

I get the following error:

libtool: link: only absolute run-paths are allowed
make[4]: *** [libsupc++.la] Error 1

Used commands:
% mkdir build-3.0.3
% cd build-3.0.3
% ../gcc-3.0.3/configure --prefix=$HOME
% make bootstrap

OS:
Linux 2.2.19 i686
