Hello,

I've three queries to you.

1. How to specify the target machine in gcc 2.95.3 ?
is it with target or -b option ?
i would like to generate a code on sun-5.8 Generic sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-80

2. is it neccessary to specify the m/c is big_endian or litle _endian during 
compilation ? bcoz i'm compiling an application on solaris where
that application is working fine with DEC.

3. how to see, how my comiler is configured like
is it an 32 bit compiler ? and what are the flags set etc.

4 . is it possible to compile the same application in both 32 bit mode & in 
64 bit mode. will they work correctly ? i mean do we need to do the 
modification in the application .
