Cross compiler for IA64

Hi,
We are having problems building gcc-3.0.3 as cross compiler for IA64 on
IA32 machine installed with RedHat Linux 7.2.
The GNU web pages only shows succesful status of gcc-3.0.3  but there is
no list for successful cross compiler builds.
Can you tell us if any one ( email id ) has successfully built and used an
IA64 GCC-3.0.3 cross compiler on IA32-linux?
