question about genksyms

Hello,

  I am not sure if the problem below is gcc or genksyms related. I found 
out that the CRC checksum is different between Redhat 7.2 and Mandrake 9.0 
beta on the following:

gcc -E -D__KERNEL__ -D__GENKSYMS__ signal.c | /sbin/genksyms -k 2.4.19

Result from RedHat ( using gcc 2.96 )

#define __ver_dequeue_signal	8e39319b

Result from Mandrake ( using gcc 3.2 )

#define __ver_dequeue_signal	f98575e2

I am using the same .config in the two systems. What could be the problem 
here?
