__builtin_apply and g++

Hi,

In i386-linux g++ 2.95.4 20011002, and every other 2.95.4 release, 
__builtin_apply() is improperly compiled, and is impossible to use.  I lodged 
a bug report for this more than a year ago,

was closed in error.

Are bugs in 2.95.4 still being patched?

Can someone tell me: are exceptions expected to be able to be thrown and 
caught across a __builtin_apply()?
