Problems in creating dll..

I am trying to execute this command during creation of a dll:
gcc -o testdll1.exe testdll1.o -L./ -ltstdll
and I get this error:
"ld: cannot open -ltstdll: No such file or directory"

I am not able to understand whats going wrong here...
i had executed this command before the above command...
dllwrap --output-lib=libtstdll.a --dllname=tst.dll --driver-name=gcc dll1.o

can anyone help..?
