I compiled gcc 3.0 and gcc 3.01 for mips target with cygwin 1.3.2
under Windows 2000, but failed to complete.
The following is the last few lines of compiling message:

checking whether the C compiler (/tmp/gcc301/gcc/xgcc -B/tmp/gcc301/gcc/ -B/cygwin-gcc30/mips-t2-elf/bin/ -B/cygwin-gcc30/mips-t2-elf/lib/ -isystem /cygwin-gcc30/mips-t2-elf/include -g -O2 ) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables.
make: *** [configure-target-libiberty] Error 1

The binutils package is 2.10. It get compiled and installed without
any problem for the same target.
How can I overcome this problem?
Thank you very much for any suggestion and help.
