compiling binutils on a HP-UX

I installed a binary version from gcc.3.0.1 and binutils2.11.2 on HP-UX11.
Then I tried to compile the binutils with gcc.3.0.1. 
I've got the error
/opt/gcc/bin/gcc -W -Wall -g -O2 -o size size.o bucomm.o version.o filemode.o

Any help?
