With what version of GCC? (I'll assume gcc-2.95.x.)

The RTTI headers, like other headers provided (or modified) by the
compiler rather than the C library, are in the include/ subdirectory of
the directory given as the `install' directory when doing a `gcc
-print-search-dirs'.

That's probably because it's called <typeinfo>, not <typeinfo.h>.
