I re-installed the latest binutils 2.11.90.0.8), this time, config.guess
returns i586-pc-linux-gnu as you suggested. But this this time I got the
following error:
gcc.c: 2706: `RUSAGE_CHILDREN undeclared' ( first use in this function )
