libgloss

Just a question :

i want to compile gcc using newlib for an arm-elf target :
when starting configuration, it says that this config is not supported in 
target-libgloss but that should still work fine in other directories...

i had a look to newlib/libgloss/README, and arm target boards are not 
mentionned, so according to that and to what the configure tool says, i tend 
to think that libgloss is useless, but
according to

i tend to think ill have problems later, even if i can compile the rest of 
gcc well.

so, please, can anyone tell what to think about all that, and what to do to 
solve the problems i may encounter??
