Building GCC under Cygwin. Please help.

You might have better luck posting to some Cygwin-specific mailing
list.

Did you try without the --enable-threads=posix?  I suspect that's the
problem.  Try just --enable-threads, so that GCC chooses the
appropriate threading model, if any.
