compile of egcs-1.1.2 failed ... ?

You don't need egcs-g++-1.1.2.tar.bz2 to build XFS or any
Kernel.

The fix for gcc 2.95.2 is to apply the following patch:

http://clisp.cons.org/~haible/gccinclude-glibc-2.2-compat.diff

Try with egcs 1.1.2, or don't use egcs-g++-1.1.2.tar.bz2
