exe file

The shell will normally execute executables found in a directory listed
in the PATH environmental variable. So,

$ echo $PATH
/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/bin:/usr/lib/java/bin:/opt/gnome/bin:/opt/kde2/bin:/opt/kde/bin:.:/opt/gnome/bin

To execute a binary with, say:

	$ hello

The entry "." (the current working directory) should be listed, as in
the example above. If it is not, then this should tell bash where the
binary is:

	$./hello
