I'm trying to compile gcc-2.95.3 on Irix 6.2

config.status shows

../gcc-2.95.3/configure --with-gcc-version-trigger=/opt/local/src/gcc-2.95.3/gcc/version.c --host=mips-sgi-
irix6.2 --prefix=/opt/local --with-as=/bin/as --with-ld=/bin/ld --disable-multilib --norecursion
# using "mh-frag"

however

$ gmake bootstrap
produces.

 Any ideas much appreciated.
