Linking c and fortran code

Well, that's not surprising, because the answers to your (at least the
Fortran related) questions should come from the Microsoft Fortran manual
!
Only that will explain how the EXTERNAL references in the Fortran code
will be `mangled', i.e., whether they get an initial or final
underscore, etc.).

I think you'll be hard pressed to find anyone with a Microsoft Fortran
manual on our lists - Microsoft discontinued their Fortran product four
years ago.

Perhaps you could ask this question in the comp.lang.fortran news group.
