how to make PowerPC applications on Intel or Sparc Platform?

Hello, Dear sir: 

I downloaded the gcc3.0 from GNU.org the days before. The applications
what I planned to develop will be under Linux 2.2(2.4) which runs on 
PowerPC 8240, but the workstations which I am using are Ultra 10 from SUN 
and DELL 4400. my question is: How can I compile the source codes into 
PowerPC appications with gcc 3.0(maybe 2.95)?
