howto fix X11 headers?

Hi!

On hpux-11.0 (cumulative patches from march 2001)
I tried to compile a package (qt) which uses X11 headers.
g++ complains about them: millions of messages like

/usr/include/X11R6/X11/Xutil.h:770: ISO C++ forbids declaration of
`XSetRegion'
   with no type

During bootstrap of gcc I saw a message about fixing headers.
Can this be applied to X11 headers?
How?
