g++ (egcs)

[Corbisiero, Raffaele (Factiva)]

I have now tried gcc 2.95.2 and it too gives me the same error... (yes I did
mean egcs 1.1.2)

Huh?  There's no such thing as egcs 1.2.  Maybe you meant 1.1.2?  In
this case, it's a very old release.  How about giving GCC 2.95.2 a
try?
