Hello:

Does anyone know how to get around this error. I am trying to install gcc 2.95.2 on a Solaris Enterprise 250 server with little success. The server has the entire distribution package installed. I have also installed autoconf (autoheader), gcc m4-1.14, and bison. After running either make (and even make bootstrap) I get the following error:

/opt/sfw/src/gcc-2.95.2/gcc/xgcc -B/opt/sfw/src/gcc-2.95.2/gcc/ -B/usr/local/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/bin/ -fgnu-runtime -c -o linking.o -I. -I. -g -DIN_GCC -I./objc -I./../../gcc -I./../../gcc/config -I../../gcc -I./../../include linking.m
xgcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1obj got fatal signal 11

make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-target-libobjc'
Current working directory /opt/sfw/src/gcc-2.95.2

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Am I missing any other programs or library files??

Thanks so much...

Rose
