Linux 6.2 Problem

I am having a problem with compiling a program on 
Linux 6.2,  The error I receive is:
 
/usr/lib/crt1.o    undefined 
reference to main:
 
I see a lot of references but no solutions. Does 
anyone have a solution to this problem?
