Does gcc need patching for OSF1 V4.0 (alpha) ?

Hello,

I cannot go past a virtual memory exhausted error during the bootstrapping
of the last snapshots including the October one.  In each case, I had GNU
bison and make installed.

Anybody managed to compile successfully on Alpha?
