problems with gcc in cygwin

  It must have been something about CR-LF; I suppose that using Wordpad
as editor has added the CR to the file. I trasfered the file to a
UNIX machine in ASCII mode, then recovered it in binary mode and the 
test program compiled without any problem.

  I do not know what a binary mount-point is; I suppose that it is a cygwin
concept, and Windows NT knows nothing about it?
