warning: pointer of type `void *' used in arithmetic -- get this when compiling XF4.01 with gcc 2.95.2

Hi there,

can somebody enlighten me what this is ? I get this often in string2.h
during compile.

Is there a docu somewhere pointing out what to look at and what has
changed when switching from an earlier gcc version (i.e. egcs 1.1.2) to
gcc 2.95.2 ?
