building libstdc++-v3

Hello,

A quick question for you:

I see that libstdc++-v3 is included with the lastest gcc from CVS.
Is there a preferred method to build it instead of the default v2?

All documentation I have found is rather old and applies mainly
to libstdc++-v3 snapshots (the cygnus tarballs).  If somebody could
point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

perhaps a configure switch or something?
