about gcc binaries

Hello :
I have downloaded gcc binary 2.95.2 for hp-unix 11.00
I am trying to avoid compiling the code, since an attempt compilation proved
not so successful.
Now FAQ documents talk about downloading bison and flex. But I think they
are needed only if I try to compile the source. Am I right in believing that
if I download binary for gcc, bison and flex don't come into picture.
In that case I would try downloading binutils, and see whether that does the
trick.
