I am installing gcc 2.95.1 on my Redhat 6.0 Linux box and cannot get past the "configuration --host=" prompt. Even though I have given it the hostname on my machine blah.good.com it cannot resolve this name. And the automatic mode cannot find a valid hostname. Does anyone have any ideas why I can't resolve my hostname? Doug Bosco trees@megsinet.net
