GCC: Is there a limitation on numbers of warnings

Hello everbody,

I have the problem that the compiler just stops without any hint why, but it
prints a lot of warnings which
can be ignored the manufacturer assures.

My questions:
 o Is there a limitation on numbers of warnings?
 o If so, can I encrease that limit.
