Building gcc 2.95 on Solaris 2.6

/opt/SUNWspro/bin/cc.

/usr/ucb/cc will hardly compile any software.

/usr/ccs/bin/make you mean?  Works fine (in fact, some products will not
work with gnumake)

Not needed.
