Sorry, I'm a recently user of Linux. I'm not familiarized yet with the
way of compiling programs. I've tried to install caitoo, a program
similar to GetRigth for windows. I downloaded the source code as a
tar.gz file. When I tried to compile it, a message said to me that I
cannot compile. When I read carefully the instructions below the README
file, I discovered that I needed the version 2.8.1. I've installed the
GNU CC compiler 2.8.1 following the instructions of the README and
INSTALL files. When I try to compile caitoo, I execute ./configure and I

found the message  about g++

cannot create executable files

I need help please
