does anyone know how to open a binary file with G77

I used "OPEN(UNIT=1,FILE='toto',FORM='binary')" with microsoft fortran
powerstation but "binary" is a specific option

How to do with the standard options "formatted" or "unformatted"

I tryed several possibilities but none works

I need help thanks or the adress of help files
