gcc 2.95.2 assembler error on HPUX 10.1

Your compiler is configured to work with the GNU assembler. Go back to
the site you pulled the compiler from and look for the assembler
package - it will probably be 'binutils-2.9.X' or something like
that. Install it, then try to compile 'foo.c' again.
