GCC starting in GCC 16 requires a C++14 compiler. There are only 4 out there
(EDG front-end, so maybe the old ICC), clang (includes ICX) and MSVC.  I don't
know anyone who has tested GCC with either ICC or MSVC so ...  Anyways closing
as won't fix.
