Regarding the output from 'make -p' or 'make -d': I have no idea whether the
sequence in which blocks of text from 'make -p' or the stream of consciousness
from 'make -d' is sorted to be able to easily compare PPC and intel output. The
output from 'make -p' can be sorted by "awk -v RS=" – change the variable
Record Separator or RS to be the empty line.
