x86_64-pc-linux-gnu is now into make check, i386-pc-solaris2.11
--with-gnu-as in stage 3 with auto-host identical to what we had before,
and x86_64-apple-darwin21.6.0 just entered stage 2 with auto-host.h
identical to the previous one.

Should this be enough to commit the patch?  And will you do it or should I?
