I still believe that it is a GCC bug, but for now we are able to reproduce it
only within the poudriere environment (poudriere is FreeBSD's official packages
builder; it works by creating a clean FreeBSD container where the software is
compiled and packaged). I will compare my system's environment with poudriere's
environment and see if I can reproduce the segmentation fault directly on the
OS.

I will also attempt to bisect the commit, since we already know the week when
the fault started.
