I personally think it would be worthwhile to split out the pointer-related
instances of -Wstrict-overflow into a separate flag (-Wstrict-pointer-overflow,
perhaps), that can be toggled separately. In this case the user just wants to
know about overflow on integers, but not pointers, but I can see of cases where
a user might want the reverse (i.e., to know about overflow on pointers, but
not on integers)
