Should be fixed by the above commits.

I verified the fix on gcc135.fsffrance.org in the GCC compile farm:
  CentOS Linux release 7.8.2003 (AltArch)
  powerpc64le-unknown-linux-gnu
  glibc-2.17-307.el7.1.ppc64le
