this is the file used to test the pre-processor
While setting up defines for various folders I found that the preprocessor will
truncate the word linux .
I am enclosing two files from the following the gcc command line.
gcc -E exp.c | grep -v ^# > preprocessed.c
gcc version 7.4.0 (Ubuntu 7.4.0-1ubuntu1~18.04.1)
