Started with r192719 - the introduction of LRA.
Reload would reject it with:
pr85030.c: In function ‘foo’:
pr85030.c:7:3: error: ‘asm’ operand constraint incompatible with operand size
   asm volatile ("" : "=rm" (a) : "0" (1));
   ^
pr85030.c:7:3: error: ‘asm’ operand has impossible constraints

Slightly adjusted testcase:
struct S { int c, *b, *e; };

foo ()
{
  struct S a;
  asm volatile ("" : "=rm" (a) : "0" (1));
}
