I have just tried to bootstrap trunk revision 261907 with address
sanitizer and got this:

with

sed 's/-O2/-O3 -funroll-loops -Wlogical-op/' < Makefile > Makefile.tmp
mv Makefile.tmp Makefile

This used to work at revision 261641, so it looks like 
someone has broken something in the last few days.
