Bug ID: 82266
Summary: [DR150] Allowing more specialized argument than
parameter for placeholder
Product: gcc
Version: 8.0
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: c++
Assignee: unassigned at gcc dot gnu.org
Reporter: barry.revzin at gmail dot com
Target Milestone: ---
This example compiles:
template <template <auto> class P> struct X { };
template <auto*> struct A { };
int main() {
X<A>();
}
But here, A is more specialized than the P, so it doesn't fit the new criteria
in p0522.
