Can't confirm that, running trunk@248556 works fine for me.
Utilizing valgrind also does not help.

Can you please run a single test manually:

$ gcc --coverage gcov-1.c
$ ./a.out
$ gcov gcov-1.c

And you can also test:
$ gcov-dump gcov-1.gcno
