On ppc64le:

 % /home/trippels/gcc_7/usr/local/bin/g++ -fcompare-debug --param
ggc-min-expand=20 --param ggc-min-heapsize=500 -c -O3 SampleProfReader.ii       
g++: error: SampleProfReader.ii: -fcompare-debug failure (length)
