I only have an Ada testcase but I think that it would be fairly easy to see
unpropagated copies: replace

    case MODIFY_EXPR:
      slsr_process_copy (gs, rhs1, speed);
      break;

with

    case SSA_NAME:
      gcc_unreachable ();

and run the C testsuite.  Of course that doesn't mean any transformation would
necessarily be done in the end.
