The following testcase distilled from ICU's ucnv_bld.cpp is miscompiled on i?86
starting with r227382 with -m32 -march=i386 -mtune=atom -O2 -fPIC:

g++ -m32 -march=i386 -mtune=atom -O2 -fPIC -o r227382{,-1.C,-2.C}
