Confirmed.  One issue is that the version presented on the web is always taken
from trunk, not from the respective branches.  That is,
https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/5.3.0/ does not reference any install
instructions but there is only gcc.gnu.org/install which is for trunk.
