I get the same output also with 6.2, while 4.9 yields:
dim= 3 len= 0
STR -><- 0
STR -><- 0
STR -><- 0
dim= 3 len= 0
CON -><- 0
CON -><- 0
CON -><- 0
which is obviously much worse. 4.8 does not compile the program. So it does not
seem to be a regression.
