ivybridge processor is not supported by -march ivybridge

I asked at linux questions about if my mobile processor really was an
ivybridge and if -march ivybridge was really what it could use.

My processor is described here:

My problem is that my cpu does not support all the standard ivybridge
instructions.
I want to know if this is a bug in gcc or my processor or what.
