The patch in comment 3 fixes the PR without regression, as well as pr61676,
pr63494, and  pr66562 (duplicates?).

Note that patches should be posted to gcc-patches@gcc.gnu.org and for gfortran
to fortran@gcc.gnu.org with the change log entry.
